Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a central raised Geneva Cross, overlaid by a hand clutching a sword, flanked by a date of 1941, circumscribed by an inscription of CRUCIADA MPOTRIVA COMUNISMULUI (CRUSADE AGAINST COMMUNISM), the reverse with a raised female profile above an inscription of ROMNIA RECUNOSCTOARE (ROMANIA IS GRATEFUL), unmarked,
