it is estimated that only 250 survived the torpedo attack and the subsequent treatment by the Japanese Army

Constructed of gilded and silver bronze, affixed to a backplate with a horizontal pinback, with a period original ribbon stitched to the backplate, unmarked, measuring 41 mm (w) x 35 mm (h), in very fine condition.
